We use CAD software at work. It is a convenient resource of practical and effective tools that make designing steel structures quick and relatively simple. The software we use consists of specific specialized modules that contain virtually all the most important issues in the field of calculations necessary for the design of steel structures. The software we use significantly speeds up and improves designers’ activities – it enables the generation of drawings in the DXF format and carries out calculations in accordance with the restrictive Eurocode PN-EN standards. This is extremely important because when designing steel structures, safety issues are an unquestionable priority.
